When Can I Check-In and Check-Out...

The Little River Pet Resort is open to the public during the following hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00 – 10:00 AM
  5:00 – 6:30 PM
   
Saturday & Sunday 9:00 – 11:00 AM
   3:00 – 4:30 PM
Please note: Weekend Check-Ins are only in the morning! There are no weekend evening Check-Ins.

Holiday Closures and Modified Hours:
Although our kennel staff obviously will be caring for our guests, our office will be closed to the public on the following days: Easter Sunday, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.

We will be open in the morning only on Labor Day, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Columbus Day, and New Year's Eve.

Space is limited during these holidays and a two day minimum stay is required to confirm a reservation that includes any of these holidays

FROM DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND

  • Take the "Inner Belt" South (I-90 W / I-71 S)
  • Follow I-71 SOUTH for approximately 16 miles
  • Take Exit 231B at Royalton Road WEST (Rt 82) in Strongsville - (one exit south of the Ohio Turnpike).
  • Follow Royalton Road (Rt 82) WEST for 6.3 miles.
  • Watch for a yellow sign that says "Plum Creek Rd"
  • The Resort is on the left-hand side of Royalton Road (Rt. 82) just after Plum Creek Road and just before the Post Office
  • If you reach Station Road in Columbia Station you have gone too far
  • For an alternate (more complicated route) visit maps.google.com

CLEVELAND WEST (LAKEWOOD, ROCKY RIVER, WESTLAKE etc.)

  • Follow I-90 to the Columbia Road (Rt 252) Exit
  • Follow Columbia Rd (Rt 252) SOUTH approximately 10 miles to Royalton Rd (Rt 82)
    • Note: In North Olmsted, follow signs for Rt 252.
    • Turn right on Lorain Rd (one half mile)
    • Turn LEFT on Great Northern Blvd (approximately 1 mile) which will rejoin Columbia Rd.
  • Turn RIGHT on Royalton Rd (Rt 82)
  • Follow Royalton Road (Rt 82) WEST for 1 mile.
  • Watch for a yellow sign that says "Plum Creek Rd"
  • The Resort is on the left-hand side of Royalton Road (Rt. 82) just after Plum Creek Road and just before the Post Office
  • If you reach Station Road in Columbia Station you have gone too far

    • Follow I-71 SOUTH for approximately 5 miles

  • Take Rt 237 SOUTH for approximately 3 miles
  • Turn RIGHT on Bagley Rd - follow Bagley Rd approximately 2 miles
  • Turn LEFT on Columbia Rd - follow Columbia Rd approximately 4.5 miles
  • Turn RIGHT on Royalton Rd (Rt 82)
  • Follow Royalton Road (Rt 82) WEST for 1 mile.
  • Watch for a yellow sign that says "Plum Creek Rd"
  • The Resort is on the left-hand side of Royalton Road (Rt. 82) just after Plum Creek Road and just before the Post Office

AVON / WESTLAKE

  • Take Avon-Belden Rd (Rt 83) SOUTH for approximately 10 miles.
  • Turn LEFT on Royalton Rd (Rt 82)
  • Follow Royalton Rd (Rt 82) EAST for approximately 4 miles
  • After Station Rd watch for the US Post Office on your right
  • We are about 200 feet past the Post Office on the right
  • If you reach Plum Creek Drive, you have gone too far

NORTH RIDGEVILLE / WESTLAKE

  • Take Lorain Rd or Center Ridge Rd to Root Rd
  • Turn SOUTH on Root Rd
  • Follow Root Rd until it ends at Station Rd
  • Turn right on Station Rd
  • Follow Station Rd approximately one half mile
  • Turn left on Royalton Rd (Rt 82)
  • watch for the US Post Office on your right
  • We are about 200 feet past the Post Office on the right
  • If you reach Plum Creek Drive, you have gone too far

ELYRIA

  • Take Rt 57 SOUTH (for approximately 6 miles south of downtown Elyria)
  • Turn LEFT on Royalton Rd (Rt 82)
  • Follow Royalton Rd (Rt 82) EAST for approximately 6 miles
  • After Station Rd watch for the US Post Office on your right
  • We are about 200 feet past the Post Office on the right
  • If you reach Plum Creek Drive, you have gone too far

STRONGSVILLE

  • Follow Royalton Rd (Rt 82) WEST for approximately 4 miles past Pearl Rd (Rt 42)
  • Watch for a yellow sign that says "Plum Creek Rd"
  • The Resort is on the left-hand side of Royalton Road (Rt. 82) just after Plum Creek Road and just before the Post Office
  • If you reach Station Road in Columbia Station you have gone too far

OHIO TURNPIKE (I-80) from EAST (TOLEDO)

  • Exit I-80 at Exit 145 (Elyria/Lorain)
  • Follow Signs for Rt 57 SOUTH for approximately 8 miles
  • Note: Rt 57 changes road names several times and follows additional route numbers, but just continue to follow signs for Rt 57
  • Turn LEFT on Royalton Rd (Rt 82)
  • Follow Royalton Rd (Rt 82) EAST for approximately 6 miles
  • After Station Rd watch for the US Post Office on your right
  • The Resort is about 200 feet past the Post Office on the right
  • If you reach Plum Creek Drive, you have gone too far

OHIO TURNPIKE (I-80) from WEST (YOUNGSTOWN / PITTSBURGH)

  • Exit I-80 at Exit 161 (I-71 / Strongsville - Cleveland)
  • Follow I-71 SOUTH for approximately 2 miles
  • Take Exit 231B at Royalton Road WEST (Rt 82) in Strongsville
  • Follow Royalton Road (Rt 82) WEST for 6.3 miles.
  • Watch for a yellow sign that says "Plum Creek Rd"

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

For the protection of all of our guests, before arriving for daycare, boarding, grooming, or any other activity, your pet must have current Rabies, Bordetella, and DHLPP vaccinations, as well as a recent fecal test for parasites (within 6 months before check-in).
